In 2019, Adulting 101 was piloted in an effort to prepare students to life after high school.
In its first session, the Foundation partnered with a project team from the 2018 United Way St. Joseph Leadership Class to provide students the opportunity to learn about leadership & diversity, healthcare, wellness & nutrition, car-care & maintenance and employment.
Community experts use their time, talent and devotion to uplifting our regional high school student population.
LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics is a program elective offered for students in grades 3-5.
This program brings to life 280 building elements that motivate students to collaborate, build, problem-solve and explore, all while deepening their STEAM learning and developing 21st century skills.
LEGO EV3 Robotics is another program elective offered for students in grades 6-8.
This program motivates and excites students to learn programming and engineering concepts through creating and constructing machines to solve real-world problems.
Mosaic Life Care Foundation and emPowerU offers several professional development workshops to support northwest Missouri school districts in challenge-based learning, leadership development and STEAM exploration. Our emPowerU facilitators are trained in experiential learning techniques that encourage educators to implement an active learning environment in the classroom.
