STEAM After-School

Mosaic Life Care Foundation’s STEAM After-School enrichment programs are designed to create and develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. All sessions feature hands-on activities led by trained facilitators. Participants may code drones and video games, build machines and robots.

Join us for an exciting opportunity to enrich your children’s learning experience.

Lego WeDo 2.0 Robotics (Grades 3-5)

Lego WeDo Robotics is a favorite of our STEAM participants.  Featuring a diverse curriculum that allows students to explore a variety of concepts, this program offers the students an opportunity to problem solve, create and build unique robots, and even develop coding skills.

SOS: Endangered Earth (Grades 1-5)

Children use their ingenuity to fulfill an important mission – protecting animal habitats and preserving our natural resources.  This program, developed by the National Inventors Hall of Fame, guides children to explore the relationship between humans and wildlife, investigate the real environmental issues that will affect our future, and challenges them to create inventions to improve the future of humans and animals.

Coding Drones (Grades 6-8)

Students experience the thrill of flight and accomplishment as they learn to program Parrot drones using TYNKER’s intuitive visual coding.  They will pilot these drones through extreme maneuvers and fly aerial combat missions all through the power of code.

Virtual Reality Explorers (Grades 6-8)

Students get to experience and explore utilizing this incredibly immersive technology.  Whether it is visiting outer space, creating three-dimensional art, exploring our planet, or problem-solving in breathtaking environments, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
