Dr. Gaddie’s August Update
Greetings,
As we approach the start of a new academic year, I think back to July and happily recall the positive energy at emPowerU with Camp Invention and STEAM camps. To have 156 students on our campus who eagerly want to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and math is a wonderful site.
Heartland Foundation thanks each of you who enrolled your student in our summer camp sessions and invite you to join us on the rooftop of the Mosaic Downtown Parking Garage Sept. 20 for our annual Ignite Rooftop Gala. Regional food presentations, live music by Soca Jukebox and a BIG announcement will all be capped off by a brilliant fireworks display. Funds raised that evening will help offset camp registration fees for underserved students in our service region for our 2020-2022 summer camps.
We thank each of you for your investment in creating a healthy and thriving community and hope to see you on the rooftop. Together, we can spark an interest for the next generation to explore unique opportunities for their possible academic and career paths.
