Ignite Annual Fundraiser Makes History
At Heartland Foundation’s Sept. 20 Ignite Annual Fundraiser, history was made.
Heartland Foundation announced their transition to the Mosaic Life Care Foundation. More than 350 guests were at the event to witness the unveiling of the new name and logo.
Mosaic Life Care Foundation President, Dr. Julie Gaddie, said the mission of the Foundation remains unwavering.
“Mosaic Life Care Foundation is committed to building healthy and thriving communities for generations to come,” Gaddie said. “We believe in championing education and empowering people to live their best lives. When healthcare is needed, we are dedicated to ensuring exceptional healthcare is available in our region.”
The Ignite Annual Fundraiser raised approximately $147,000. Event proceeds will offset registration fees for underserved youth in Buchanan, Andrew, Nodaway and Gentry counties to attend Mosaic Life Care Foundation’s summer STEAM Camps.
The fundraiser was held on the rooftop of the Mosaic Life Care Downtown Parking Garage. A reservation to the evening included dinner from four regional caterers, live entertainment by Soca Jukebox, games, a live and silent auction, cash bar and fireworks.
