2020 Scholarship Recipients

Mosaic Life Care Foundation has awarded scholarships to 16 students in northwest Missouri.

The Foundation offers scholarships for students seeking post-secondary education. Several scholarships are memorials while others are intended to uplift various areas of study and the overall value of lifelong learning. An additional six e2 education emPowers® scholarships are offered through a collaboration of Mosaic Life Care Foundation, Healthy Communities Regional Investor Partners and several other regional post-secondary education institutions.

A committee made up of northwest Missouri community members chooses recipients who are interested in completing certificate programs, associate or bachelor’s degrees or graduate studies.

The 2020 scholarships and recipients are as follows:

Doris R. Hines Scholarship: Melanie Smith, St. Joseph, Missouri

Mosaic Life Care Hospice Scholarship: Andrea Dye, Albany, Missouri

Dr. William and Mrs. Muriel Redmond Scholarship: Kori Hixson, St. Joseph, Missouri

Mary Ann Reinert Scholarship: Hannah Riekhof, Country Club, Missouri

E2 education emPowers Scholarship: Jacqueline Carlson, Cosby, Missouri; Nicolas Steele, Cosby Missouri; Gabriella Vigiliaturo, St. Joseph, Missouri

Bill and Mary Russell Scholarship: Victoria Crooks, St. Joseph, Missouri; Kylea Curnutt, Gower, Missouri; Kori Hixson, St. Joseph, Missouri; Natalie Kovac, St. Joseph, Missouri; Shelby Mason, Weatherby, Missouri; Gracie Moore, St. Joseph, Missouri and Hannah Riekhof, Country Club, Missouri.
