Mosaic Medical Center – Albany Debuts Spring Art Experience Exhibit

The Art Experience at Mosaic Medical Center – Albany is debuting a new spring exhibit.

On Monday, May 16, 5 – 6:30 p.m., Mosaic Foundation – Albany welcomes community members for an open house reception to view the artwork.

With 16 pieces on display at 705 N. College St., submissions include artists from Albany, Grant City, Jefferson City, Lathrop, Plattsburg and Stanberry, Missouri.

Ann Hogue, artist, said she is excited and honored to have her artwork included in The Art Experience.

“Providing a venue for local artists is a wonderful opportunity to partner the arts with wellness,” Hogue said. “I hope that this exhibition will inspire more artists to share their talents at future events.”

The experience patients, visitors and caregivers have within the Mosaic Medical Center – Albany walls is always a primary focus. The Foundation hopes to enhance that experience with the addition of original, inspiring and healing art.

At the reception, the Foundation will follow appropriate COVID-19 guidelines including requiring face masks, social distancing and providing hand sanitizing stations.

The exhibit will be on display until October. To learn more about The Art Experience, please contact Laura Almquist, community relations ambassador, (660) 726-1262 or laura.almquist@mymlc.com.
