Patterson Family Foundation Makes Gift to Mosaic

Mosaic Life Care Foundation was recently awarded a $100K gift from the Patterson Family Foundation.

This gift will support next phase renovations of Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph, Cancer Care, to create a Cancer Survivorship Clinic.

Mosaic Life Care Foundation President, Julie Gaddie, PhD, said the Foundation is grateful for the gift.

“We are very grateful to have received our first major gift from this regional foundation and look forward to our developing partnership,” Gaddie said. “The gift was secured thanks to the collaborative work of caregivers across numerous Mosaic departments.”

When complete, the clinic will include elements such as a multipurpose education room, therapy services, wellness/exercise gym, spiritual health services, massage, acupuncture and acupressure and a patient library.

The Patterson Family Foundation located in Kansas City, Missouri, was established in 2007 extending the legacy of Neal and Jeanne Patterson. The Foundation is currently administered by Neal and Jeanne’s adult children with a mission to help rural communities through health care, education, economic opportunity and beyond.
