Registration now open for STEAM Camps for Kids

STEAM Camps for Kids by emPowerU are a fun and engaging way for kids entering grades 3 – 8 to spend part of their summer!

Weekly camps are offered offered July 16 – August 3, 2018 at our emPowerU Campus in St. Joseph and Think Ahead Works® in King City.  Our STEAM programs are designed to create and develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.  All sessions feature hands-on activities led by trained facilitators.

Fiber Arts STEAM Camp
Explore the science behind papermaking and natural dyes while creating fun art projects!

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics
Program and command your robot to complete advanced tasks! Beginner and advanced sessions offered.

LEGO® Powered Machines & Mechanisms
Problem solve by building powered LEGO® machines! Renewable energy and pneumatic add-on kits available in camp for students entering grades 6 – 8.

LEGO® WeDo 2.0 Robotics
Elementary science comes to life as students build Milo the Space Rover and other programmable robots!

TYNKER Coding & Game Design
Online coding made fun! No prior programming experience required. Students get access to the online module for a full year.
