Scholarships Available for Northwest Missouri Students

Heartland Foundation is currently offering scholarships for students seeking post-secondary education.

Students interested in completing certificate programs, associate or bachelor’s degrees or graduate studies have an opportunity to apply. Ten unique scholarship funds have been established at Heartland Foundation over the past three decades based on the wishes of the individual donors and organizations.

Dr. Sandra Pettit Weber, Heartland Foundation resource coordinator, said the scholarships are a great benefit to students who have a desire to pursue higher education.

“Heartland Foundation offers scholarships to students and can be a great resource,” Pettit Weber said. “We care about continuing education and we want to help.”

Several scholarships are memorials while others are intended to uplift various areas of study and the overall value of lifelong learning. An additional six (e2) education emPowers®  scholarships are offered through a collaboration of Heartland Foundation, Healthy Communities Regional Investor Partners and several other regional post-secondary education institutions.

Details about the eligibility criteria and scholarship applications can be found at http://www.heartlandfoundation.org/what-we-do/scholarships.
