Dr. Gaddie’s July Update

Dr. Gaddie’s July Update

Greetings,

Mosaic Life Care Foundation devotes our resources to creating a Healthy Today, a Healthy Tomorrow, and to be Healthy Together. Recent activity to support these efforts include a monetary gift, youth summer camps, and preparation for our annual Ignite event. A $250,000 gift from the Louetta M. Cowden Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee is the second contribution designated to support Phase II of the Cancer Center renovations. When complete, the project will include elements such as a multipurpose education room, therapy services, wellness/exercise area, spiritual health services, massage, acupuncture and acupressure, and patient library. We invite you to take a drive down Riverside and see the construction progress that is slated for completion in March 2022.

Summer STEAM Camps continue to be a flurry of activity at both our St. Joseph emPowerU campus and in King City at Think Ahead Works. This year’s participants are experiencing the thrill of flight, programming robots, coding video games and are using virtual reality to visit other countries. With two weeks of summer camps remaining, there is still an opportunity to experience these hands-on activities.

We look forward to Sept. 10 and invite you to save this date so you may join us on the rooftop of Mosaic’s downtown parking garage for this open-air event that features regional caterers, live music, and the opportunity to visit with friends and learn more about the Foundation’s projects. Highlights and updates about Phase II of the Cancer Center project, our educational programming, and Nursing Fellowship will be shared.

On behalf of our board of trustees and caregivers, I hope you and your family members are remaining well and are enjoying making summertime memories. Please join me in celebrating what a healthy today and a healthy tomorrow can look like when we work together.

With warmest regards,

Julie
