Mosaic Receives $250K Gift

Mosaic Life Care was recently awarded a $250K gift from the Louetta M. Cowden Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee.

The gift is the second contribution designated to support Phase II of Mosaic’s cancer center renovations on their St. Joseph campus. When complete, it will include elements such as a multipurpose education room, therapy services, wellness/exercise area, spiritual health services, massage, acupuncture, and patient library.

“Mosaic is committed to providing our patients with the best and most holistic cancer care available in our region,” Mark Laney, MD, CEO of Mosaic Life Care, said. “We are grateful for this wonderful gift which will move us closer to making this project a reality.”

Julie Gaddie, PhD, president of Mosaic Life Care Foundation, said the gift helps further the mission of the Foundation.

“We appreciate the Cowden Foundation and their belief in our mission to ensure exceptional healthcare is available, right here in our region,” Gaddie said.

Mosaic Life Care Foundation secured the gift through an application process over the last several months.
