New Year’s Greeting from Our President

A new calendar year always brings a sense of rejuvenation amid the backdrop of the long cold days of winter. Somehow, just the idea that we can start fresh with a new set of goals and commitment to the future lifts our spirits. We look at our image in the mirror, challenge ourselves to grow while still embracing our unique strengths.

As Heartland Foundation looks to 2019 we are excited about our laser focus on innovative strategies to build a healthy tomorrow. We have a diligent history of planning for the future and propelling forward through purposeful programming that encourages people of all ages to improve their personal health and build community prosperity.  At the center of our work is the understanding that problems cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that created them. It is this pursuit of innovation that keeps Heartland Foundation actively investing in youth programs, grants, scholarships and community collaborations.

Heartland Foundation, in partnership with Mosaic Life Care, is ready to take on 2019! We are kicking off the new year with a renewed commitment to working with schools, community leaders and health care professionals to create a healthy tomorrow. We recognize that the habits of healthy living start early in our homes and schools. Through strong coalitions, we are excited to build youth engagement, a workforce ready to lead and a vibrant community to call home.
