Dr. Gaddie’s March Update

Heartland Foundation’s 2019 Big Muddy Mini Maker Faire was well received by everyone in attendance. On behalf of our Board of Trustees, and the Maker Faire Leadership Team, I would like to extend a gracious thank you to more than 100 volunteers, makers, organizers, and our event sponsors. The Foundation greatly appreciates the partnership with Restoration Natatorium and is proud of our investment with Downtown First activities.

Whether it was Brad Law and his son telling the story of their family’s business, Law Farms LLC., Lettuce Dream sharing the process of hydroponic gardening, or Tobiason Studio demonstrating how a stained glass window is fabricated, Faire attendees had much to see and much to participate with. Our Leadership Team realizes the potential of continued success with this event.

The Big Muddy Mini Maker Faire continues Heartland Foundation’s mission of championing education and empowering people in our region. Plans for 2020 are underway. We welcome input and involvement as we build upon this year’s success.
